Dr. Lisa Hatfield, DVM, MS

Dr. Lisa Hatfield received a DVM and MS in Microbiology from Kansas State University and has been practicing in the Phoenix area since 1990. She and her husband, Dr. Les Hatfield, acquired Moon Valley Animal Hospital in 1993. Dr. Lisa is a member of the AVMA, AzVMA and the Arizona Veterinary Academy. Her special interest is in the area of dentistry. She lives with husband, Les, and their two daughters in Glendale, Arizona. Their extended animal family consists of a portuguese water dog, a cat and four horses. |
Dr. Les Hatfield, DVM

Dr. Les Hatfield graduated from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and has practiced in the Phoenix area ever since. He sees patients at Moon Valley Animal Hospital, as well as, Ark Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Les' special interests include behavioral health and orthopedic surgery. He is a member of the AVMA, AzVMA, the Association of Ethical Veterinarians and is past chairman of the AzVMA Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Maricopa County Mounted Sheriff's Search and Rescue Posse. |
Dr. Tanya Thies, DVM

Dr. Tanya Thies graduated from Deer Valley High School and the University of Arizona. She obtained her veterinary medicine degree in 2000 from the University of Pennsylvania. She is happily married to her husband, Michael, and has two small children, Miya and Jonah. Her dog, Sadie, a Beagle /Newfoundland mix, and two cats, Jasmine and Frasier, complete the family. Dr. Thies has special interests in dermatology, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. |
Tabitha Candler - Kennel Attendant
Amy Clayton - Receptionist
After graduating from Moon Valley High School and attending Glendale Community College, Amy came to Moon Valley Animal Hospital in 2003. She enjoys meeting the clients and patients at the hospital.
Kara Fuller - Technician
Kara graduated from Long Technical College's Veterinary Assistant program and has been at Moon Valley Animal Hospital since early 2004. She has worked her way up to Head Technician.
Sheryl Goddard - Bookkeeper

Kim Jones - Technician Assistant
Kim is a graduate of Greenway Highschool and is planning to attend Arizona State University to fulfill her long time interest in the veterinary field. Kim is proud to work along side the staff at Moon Valley Animal Hospital.
David McHenry - Technician Assistant
Deanne Reinke - Technician
Deanne joined Moon Valley Animal Hospital in January, 2005, as a veterinary technician. She has worked in the veterinary field since August, 2001. In 2001, she graduated from Deer Valley High School and is currently attending Glendale Community College. Deanne is pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
